FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions that may address concerns you may have:

What Denomination Is Great Commission Fellowship?

Great Commission Fellowship belongs to the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Who Is The Alliance?

  • We are ordinary people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. Empowered by an extraordinary God.
  • We come together for the common purpose of completing The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • We take faith-filled risks to see Christ's Kingdom multiplied throughout the world.
  • A clear distinctive of The Alliance is to know Jesus Christ as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King and to complete His Great Commission.
  • How Does Great Commission Fellowship Support Missions?

Unlike other organizations, The Christian and Missionary Alliance does not require its missionaries to raise their own support. Instead, missionaries and their ministries are financed through what we call The Great Commission Fund (GCF) and the Compassion and Mercy Associates (CAMA Advance Fund). When you financially give to missions at Great Commission Fellowship those monies are divided between these two C&MA funds to help support the missionaries overseas. This frees up missionaries to concentrate on their ministries instead of on raising funds.

The effects of this strategy has been amazing. Statistics show us that :

  • Every two minutes, someone prays to receive Christ through the worldwide outreach of Alliance ministries.
  • Every hour, three patients, many of them ravaged by AIDS, receive physical and spiritual care through C&MA medical work.
  • Every day via 43 radio broadcasts, people who have had no gospel witness hear the good news.
  • Every week, nearly 3,000 new believers are baptized.
  • Every month, 253 churches and church groups join the worldwide Alliance family.
  • Every year, 9,635 students are trained and equipped for ministry through 125 overseas Alliance theological schools.
  • When Does GCF Offer Communion?

The first Sunday of each month we have our Communion Service. Our monthly Communion Services is time set aside to remember what Christ did for each of us, to seriously check one's own personal relationship with God and then reverently accept the communion elements. You need not be a member of GCF to participate but you must have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life.
